About Iki Ramen
Iki Ramen opened in December 2018 in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The restaurant was co-founded by Jeffry Undiarto, Sebastian Karyadi, chef Hiroyuki Masato, and Andy Juliady.
The founders brought their respective fine-dining backgrounds to a more casual format. Jeffry Undiarto had been general manager and sake sommelier at the two-Michelin-starred n/naka. Sebastian Karyadi had trained at Mori Sushi in Los Angeles before opening Ramen Nagomi in New Jersey. Their goal was to create ramen that was playful and inventive without the rigid structure of sushi or kaiseki.
Iki Ramen expanded to a second location at 6565 Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood. The menu includes tonkotsu ramen, shoyu ramen, uni mazemen, modern sashimi, and Japanese craft drinks.
